It seems tt i have been slacking for a week.So, i decided to start writing again... damn tt jingye for spamming my blog...
-Chapter 7-
I opened the ward door and was surprised to find out that I was the first visitor of the day. Aaron's face lit up the moment he saw me.
" How are you feeling?" I ased casually.
" I have never felt better. It seemed that my injuries miraculously recovered. Even the doctor could not explain it." Aaron said happily.
Silently, I praised myself . I feigned surprise again when he said he can be discharged. I helpled him pack up his belongings and brought him home. All the way, he kept smiling at me and I suddenly felt that Callum ws the one by my side now.
He hobbled into his apartment with his walking stick and apologised for the trouble he gave me.
" Hey, what are frens for?" I teased. That was when disaster strike. Well, not that much of a disaster, but it was chaos for an immortal. Falling in love.
Aaron missed a step and was falling towards me. We both landed on his sofa in the living room. I was below and he was on the top. He struggled to get up but to no avail as his sprained ankle was just so hopeless...
" Be careful..." I warned,my tone slightly trembling .I had never come into so close in contact with a guy before. His whole body frame was leaning heavily on me and our lips were just a few centimetres apart. As I thought. my breathing slowly became pantings and and my heart thumped harder aginst my chest.I prayed that Aaron did not notice my sudden change.
Then, Aaron stopped moving. I gulped.
" Sephy..." he whispered, breathing lightly against my flaming skin.
My eyes lingered on his handsome face. Then, it happened,this jolt was like an electric shock. It was massive..overpowering, as our gaze locked together.
This happened before last time, but this time seemed different. It was not that distant but inflaming instead. It seemed that, in that moment, there were only two of us in the world and the rest were gone.
I attempted to pull away from the stare, knowing that a Destiny Angel cannot harbour such thoughts. However, I brazenly held the stare and wished that time would freeze forever...
" Ring!"the damn doorbell rang and both of us pulled away from each other and came back down to Earth. Aaron quickly scurried away from me, while I just stayed in my original position, completely overwhelmed yet embarrassed. I knew both of us felt it. It was no dream, it was reality...
